East Tennessee Sports Expo Body Building Show

I entered the novice middleweight division weighing in on the low end of the range (166-187) at 171.2 lbs.  On the day of the show I weighed 168.5 lbs and looked great.  I placed 3rd as a middleweight and won a trophy and achieved my goal.  After seeing my opponents, I actually thought I could have placed second, but no regrets.  The guy who won first as the middle weight won the overall as well.  After we were awarded the trophies, he walked off stage next to me and said he didn't understand the judging and said he did not understand how they let him beat me because I had better this and that.  LOL  He did have better legs and his poses were a bit better I believe.  After prejudging, I felt I deserved to be somewhere between 2 and 4.  I took 3rd and I am happy.

In 12 days, I will enter the Knox Classic Junior and Mr Knoxville divisions - hopefully as a lightweight this time.  I will have to shed a few more pounds, but this it is do-able - not healthy to do, but since it's the last show for the season for me, I am going to put it all on the line.
