About Me

In 2008, I was a 140 lb twig with 20% body fat.  I enjoyed playing tennis, running, and other various kinds of cardio, but I was not much into weightlifting since my departure from it in 1998 when I last played high school football.

I decided to start lifting weights with co-workers from my office at our company exercise facility.  It was a small limited place, but it had enough to get me into decent shape at the time.  Within one year, I added 20 lbs of mostly muscle.  Another 10 lbs followed in the next year, and another 10 the next.  Some people said I was addicted... I called it my new way of life.

Unfortunately, a couple shoulder surgeries set me back in 2010 and 2012.  After 2010, I more motivated to make a come back and I got even bigger.  After my latest shoulder surgery in 2012 (3rd overall), I decided I am going to take it to another level and compete at body building in the NPC.  This meant I needed a new diet, a new gym, and an updated routine, for my new updated self.  Note this updated me is ALL NATURAL - no steroids.  Nothing against anyone who uses them; I am just saying it now before anyone asks or accuses me, because I am asked about them frequently.

The point of this blog is to share my experiences.  I'll share my workouts, my diet, my supplements, my body size proportions, my poses, and whatever else I am experimenting with in my quest to win my body building title.

Here are some then and now numbers from 2008 to 2012:
